Volunteers

We could not host the Beaver County Tri Cup without the support of our volunteers. Please consider donating your time to help athletes compete at the 2026 Duquesne University Invitational and Beaver County Tri Cup on Saturday, September 19, at Brady’s Run Park.

Things to Know

  • There may be downtime between volunteer check-in and the beginning of your assignment.

  • You may be asked to assist with small jobs during this time. Please remain near the registration area unless a coordinator directs you elsewhere.

  • Organizing race volunteers is a major undertaking. Please remain respectful, flexible, and responsive to the volunteer coordinators.

  • Specific arrival times, parking instructions, and assignments will be provided when confirmed.

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

  • Information Booth/Packet Pick-up

    Provide race packets to athletes and answer general event questions.

  • Food Booth

    Distribute food to athletes and volunteers.

  • Lifeguards

    Help keep swimmers safe throughout each swim event.

  • Hand Out Swim Caps & Timing Chips

    Distribute swim caps and timing chips before each race.

  • Transition Area

    Help ensure athletes enter and exit the transition area correctly for the bike and run portions.

  • Bike Marshal

    Direct athletes at course turns and help maintain a safe bike course.

  • Run Marshal

    Direct athletes along the run course.

  • Water Station

    Distribute water to athletes.

  • Clean Up

    Help clean all event areas and keep Brady’s Run Park beautiful.
